With Storm whatever its name was just after passing by, the weather and ground conditions were not ideal in Lough Bo … but is was February in Sligo!! Many hardy souls braved the inclement weather, which was really only a factor for the first few details.
Some great scores were put in, with a lot of people shooting personal bests, including Donegals Kevin Harkin, who has now been promoted to X-Class in Smallbore Pistol T&P1.
Target shotgun saw its first outing in National competition and while participation was low, the standard was quite high. We’re sure that as the year progresses and we hold these events in different parts of the island we will see it grow.
