Thanks to Patsy and all the gang at Bracken for hosting us this past weekend.

As always the ranges were in top order, range officers ran a tight ship and the hospitality was fantastic (That stew!!)

We saw a huge turnout from Bracken itself with some new faces. We saw a few more clubs dip their tow in NASRPC competition. All great to see.

Special mention for young Caoimhin Boyle, who put in some very good scores. Juniors like him are the future of our sport and every club should be looking to follow Brackens lead and attract these young competitors.

Lough Bos’ Andy McGowan was on top form, taking top slot in everything he touched. Hilltops Len Regan was also on fire, scoring a huge 1491 in GRSB1500.

Of course we had a few people competing in a new discipline for the first time – Courtloughs’ Eamonn Gallagher shot a 1474 in GRCF1500 with one round not fired …. one to watch.

A lot of personal bests were recorded across all the disciplines, see the full results here

We can highly recommend that people make the extra effort to attend competitions on Brackens ranges – put in for your visitor permits now and they will cover you for the next 12 months.

Our next outing will be at Castlebridge in Co. Wexford on November 3rd & 4th.  More details to follow.
