A great turnout for the first National of 2017 @ Gorey & District Rifle & Pistol Club.
Their largest NASRPC event to date – It was also the largest turnout for 25m Precision at a National match since 2012.
It was great to be indoors for what was a very cold and wet day and with the cafe around the corner everyone was kept fed and watered.
Some great performances to get the competition season started – A huge number of Personal Bests recorded across the board.
We also had a few firsts:
- We had the first outing with the PL7 target in SBP25P – which was very well received
- We used electronic timers to run the matches instead of whistles – which worked very well.
We plan to use this for all events going forward. - We saw a few new faces entering National Competition for the first time, which is always great to see.
Any requests for arbitration must be before the 10/02/2017
You will also see from the results that we have made a few changes – the results now list some statuses for your score
- [GOLD][SILVER][BRONZE] indicates what medals you have won
- [PB] Indicates a new National Personal best
- [X][A][B] Classification Promotion
So thank you to Paul and the lads in Gorey for hosting us and we will see you all on the range again soon.
