Safeguarding and promoting young people’s participation in our sport is everyone’s responsibility. The NASRPC is delighted to offer a number of places on its upcoming Safeguarding 1 Course. This online workshop is designed for anyone involved in our sport: range operators, range safety officers, club children’s officers, coaches, members, parents, etc. Led by a recognised Sport Ireland Ethics Tutor, the workshop is interactive and requires participants to:

• have a good internet connection
• an email address to receive the link to the workshop
• a video camera on their device (to take part in group discussions)
• attend the full workshop to gain their certificate of attendance

The workshop will be delivered via Zoom between 6.30pm – 9.30pm on Tuesday, 20th August. The cost of participation is being sponsored by the NASRPC on this occasion. For further information or to register for this online workshop, please email child.protection@nasrpc.ie
