Pre-Registration is now open for Volunteers!

The NASRPC will hold the 2025 Irish Open at Fermoy Rifle & Pistol Club from 4 – 6 July 2025.

About the Match:

The NASRPC Irish Open is an annual event where competitors from all over Ireland and abroad come to compete in what is, for many, the highlight of their sporting calendar.

It is a multi day event, attracting large numbers of competitors and offering a huge array of competitive disciplines. It also includes the Irish leg of the IGRF (International Gallery Rifle Federation) International Series taking place on Saturday, 5 July.

On the evening of Saturday 5 July, we will also be celebrating with a Gala Dinner in the Firgrove Hotel, Mitchelstown, Co. Cork.  Tickets for the Dinner are €40 per person and can be purchased as part of your online registration. Please email secretary@nasrpc.ie if you have any significant dietary requirements / allergies that need attending to on the night.

Additional Disciplines:

100m Metallic Silhouette Competition – metal animal silhouettes at various distances. Attempt to knock all 40 silhouettes freehanded and / or sitting resting on elbows (note: this is not an NASRPC discipline. It’s being offered by Fermoy Rifle & Pistol Club as a side match during the Irish Open at the cost of €5 per entry).

Individual Aggregates:

  • GRSB Short Aggregate (25P + TP1 + MT)
  • GRSB Champ Aggregate (50P + TP1 + MT + 1500)
  • GRCF Short Aggregate (25P + TP1 + MT)
  • GRCF Champ Aggregate (50P + TP1 + MT + 1500)
  • SBP Aggregate (25P + TP1 + MT + GP85) (SBP or OSBP)
  • CFP Aggregate (25P + TP1 + MT + GP85) (CFP or OCFP)
  • 50m Prone Aggregate (SPR50 + FSPR50)

Aggregate scores are calculated from your individual scores. There is no entry fee for Individual Aggregate Entry as it is automatically calculated.

Entry Fee for the NASRPC matches:

€10 Per Discipline
€50 Entry Fee Cap per day
€200 Entry Fee Cap for the entire event
There is also a €5 Team Support Levy per person

Note: There is a 50% reduction for Old Age Pensioners, Full Time Students and the Unemployed (please bring proof at registration). Only one discount applies. Please see discount for volunteers below.

It is only possible to pre-register for 5 disciplines EACH day during pre-registration. Other disciplines may be entered on each of the days where there is availability. Pre-registration is not mandatory, but is recommended.

Payment Methods:
Cash and card payments will be accepted each day for entry fees.

Important Notice:
Licenses and Proof of Insurance must be presented at registration.

Volunteers:
There is a 25% reduction for volunteers who volunteer for 1 slot over the competition days or a 50% reduction for volunteers who volunteer for 2 or more slots over the competition days. Those volunteering at the event will have an opportunity to shoot some of their disciplines on Thursday, 3 July during the volunteer Pre-shoot.

Please Note: All NASRPC Competitions are open competitions. Results will be posted throughout, and in the days following the event. Only Gold Awards will be presented on Sunday, 6 July. Silver and Bronze awards will be issued following the event. All Events will count towards the 2025 NASRPC National Championship League.

Firearms storage:
Fermoy Rifle Club have organised firearms storage for those that require it – please enquire with the club directly.

Refreshments:
Lunch will be available each day from a food truck / canteen service on site. Lunch is payable directly to those providing this service.

Camping Onsite:
There is room for some camping onsite during the Open. Please contact Fermoy Rifle & Pistol Club directly for more information. 

Accessibility:
Not all of Fermoy Rifle and Pistol Club ranges have been made specifically wheelchair accessible.  Ranges 1, 2, 3 & 4 can be accessed. For more information contact the club directly.
