Thanks to all competitors who travelled to the second Hilltop Match of the year at the Midlands National Shooting Centre of Ireland. A one-day event this time on 6th September 2026 made for a great day’s competition.
Special thanks to JP, Anne, Tony, Brian and all the gang for hosting us in MNSCI. They already had a very busy weekend with the Michael Nooney memorial match – a great commemoration of all that Michael did for MNSCI and the Sport of Target Shooting – and still, they made sure we were taken care of.
The weather was perfect for shooting until the last half hour where we could see thunderstorms coming and just made it in time!
Match results can be found here. Scoring challenges are being accepted until Thursday, 10th September.
The next event scheduled is at Lough Bo on 26th and 27th September.
Keep an eye on the Events Calendar here on the website for more competition dates in the future.
