2026 NASRPC Irish Open & IGRF World Championships – 2nd to 5th July 2026

The NASRPC is delighted to announce that the 2026 Irish Open will take place at Fermoy Rifle & Pistol Club from Thursday 2nd to Sunday 5th July 2026.

In an exciting addition to what is already the highlight of the Irish target shooting calendar, the 2026 IGRF World Championships will also be held as part of the event, bringing the very best competitors from Ireland and around the globe to compete side by side in Fermoy.

The Irish Open

The NASRPC Irish Open is our flagship annual competition, attracting competitors from across Ireland and overseas for four days of top-class shooting, camaraderie and competition.

The event features a wide range of disciplines in Gallery Rifle, Gallery Pistol, Sporting Rifle, Benchrest and Prone shooting. For many competitors, it is the sporting highlight of the year.

The Irish leg of the IGRF International Series will also take place during the event on Saturday, 4th July 2026.

IGRF World Championships

The 2026 IGRF World Championships will run throughout the Irish Open, with both Team and Individual World Championship titles up for grabs.

The Individual World Championships are open to all competitors. There is no qualification required — simply enter the required disciplines and your scores will be combined to determine the World Championship standings.

This is a unique opportunity to compete against the best shooters in the world on home soil.

World Championship Raffle

Fermoy Rifle & Pistol Club is also running a special World Championships Raffle, featuring a superb range of prizes for competitors and supporters alike — full details can be found at the link here. Raffle tickets can be purchased during online registration at €10 each, or in books of 5 for €50, giving everyone the chance to support the event and win some fantastic prizes.

Gala Dinner & Team Awards

A Gala Dinner will take place on Saturday evening, 4th July 2026, at the Firgrove Hotel, Mitchelstown, Co. Cork.

Additional Disciplines:

100m Metallic Silhouette Competition – metal animal silhouettes at various distances. Attempt to knock all 40 silhouettes freehanded and / or sitting resting on elbows (note: this is not an NASRPC discipline. It’s being offered by Fermoy Rifle & Pistol Club as a side match during the Irish Open at the cost of €5 per entry).

Entry Fee for the NASRPC matches

• €10 Per Discipline
• €50 Entry Fee Cap per day
• €200 Entry Fee Cap for the entire event
• There is also a €5 Team Support Levy per person

Note: There is a 50% reduction for Old Age Pensioners, Full Time Students and the Unemployed (please bring proof at registration). Only one discount applies. Please see discount for volunteers below.

Pre-registration:
Pre-registration is not mandatory, but is recommended.

Payment Methods:
Cash and card payments will be accepted each day for entry fees.

Important Notice:
Licenses and Proof of Insurance must be presented at registration.

Volunteers:
There is a 25% reduction for volunteers who volunteer for 1 slot over the competition days or a 50% reduction for volunteers who volunteer for 2 or more slots over the competition days.

A new registration system has been created so you will find the match schedule and pre-registration here.

Please Note: All NASRPC Competitions are open competitions. Results will be posted throughout, and in the days following the event.  All Events will count towards the 2026 NASRPC National Championship League.

Firearms storage:
Fermoy Rifle Club have organised firearms storage for those that require it – please enquire with the club directly.

Refreshments:
Lunch will be available each day from a food truck / canteen service on site. Lunch is payable directly to those providing this service.

Camping Onsite:
There is room for some camping onsite during the Open. Please contact Fermoy Rifle & Pistol Club directly for more information.

Accessibility:
Not all of Fermoy Rifle and Pistol Club ranges have been made specifically wheelchair accessible.  Ranges 1, 2, 3 & 4 can be accessed. For more information contact the club directly.
