Results - BRC - June 2025

A great weekend was had in BRC for their 2025 National Competition, shooting in the sunshine and light showers that didn’t dampen anyone’s spirits.

Numerous competitors delivered standout performances with a wave of new personal bests (PBs) recorded across several events. Notably, Nicholas Flood from East Coast, and Andrew Morrin and Oliver Claffey from BRC all achieving personal bests in the Sporting Rifle 50m Prone.

The Field Sporting Rifle 50m Prone also saw remarkable performances, including a top score and PB of 397.031 from Oliver Claffey and strong showings from Stewart Clarke (East Coast), Sean McElwain (East Coast) and Mike Folan (Donegal).

Marie Fagan also impressed with new PBs in multiple events, including Open Field Sporting Rifle and Field Sporting Rifle 100m Prone, the latter earning her gold in Class B.

In the junior ranks, Caden Delves of BRC clinched gold in Class C with a PB of 369.006. These results highlight not only a high level of competition but also the continued development and excellence of shooters across age groups and categories.

In the Smallbore Gallery Rifle T&P1 Karl O’Brien from Harbour House took gold with a standout score of 300.15 whilst Julie Moran from Fermoy Rifle and Pistol Club topped the leaderboard in the 25m Precision event for her class.
