25m Precision Classifications

Following a decision at the 2019 AGM it was decided to introduce classifications in 25m Precision competition.

This has already happened with Pistol in 2020.

It was decided by the Governing Body to adopt proposed classification bands for 25m Precision Gallery Rifle Centrefire
The leaderboards and NSS have already been updated to reflect these changes.

X Class 295-300
A Class 285-295
B Class 1-284

With National Competition resuming, and as scores start to be submitted from sanctioned events we will see people move between these classes.

Classic Centrefire Gallery Rifle

Not everyone may be aware, but we offer competitions in both GRCF and CGRCF ……. so what is the difference?

GRCF is standard Centrefire Gallery Rifle
Pistol Calibre Lever Action Rifles (up to .455)
Scopes Permitted
Alterations such as adjustable cheekpiece, butt plate, custom foreend, etc permitted

CGRCF is Classic Centrefire Gallery Rifle
Pistol Calibre Lever Action Rifles (up to .455)
Only Iron Sights Permitted
Scopes NOT Permitted
Alterations such as adjustable cheekpiece, butt plate, custom foreend, etc NOT permitted

The general rule, for CGRCF,  is “in the spirit of the original” – so if planning to add something to your rifle for CGRCF, the question is
“would you have seen such a thing on Lever Action when first made?”
If unsure – just drop a line to NASRPC – who should be able help you out.

To see who the current GRCF National Champions are, have a re-read of the announcement form way back in 2019.
