Results – MTSC – May 2024
We came, we saw and we burned to a crisp.
Another great weekend down in Munster Target Shooting Club.
Range was in tip top order – yet again there seemed to be an abundance of MTSC Volunteers – hopefully a trend we will see in clubs throughout the land.
The weather can be summed up in one word – Scorchio.
Luckily some of us threw a bottle of sunscreen in the bag.
Great to be able to spend a day like that on the range.
There were, as usual, plenty of PBs and some new shooters on the National Circuit, which is always great to see.
Some highlights included MTSCs Gemma Culhane beating Eamon Culhane in the GRSB50P. We think it is fair to say that scorecard is probably now in pride of place in the middle of the mantelpiece or the fridge door, where it will stay!!
Also FRCs Ben Valunta and MTSCs John Alford – not long shooting Prone, have already jumped to A class with some very tasty shooting this weekend..
Our Next outing is in BRC on June 1st and 2nd – online registration will be opening in the coming days.
Online registration for the 2024 Irish Open will also be opening very soon – so be ready!!.
Irish Competitors will be competing in the Phoenix event in Bisley Shooting Grounds in England over the weekend of May 23rd to 26th, with the Irish GRSB and GRCF teams competing in the Uk legs of the IGRF International Series that weekend also.
