As usual Lough Bo was a very busy weekend – everyone worked hard and played hard and put in some very tasty shooting.

Thanks to Gerry, Eamonn and all the gang for a great weekend

The Craic was mighty – the curry was fantastic (Pat Grimes was seen licking the Pot) – the rain held off – and even the midges decided to leave us alone.

It was a bitteen windy over the weekend which affected some people …. but not all.
Eagles John Walsh wasn’t put off – He shot a new FSPR50 Record – 394.028 – and also shot a 394.023 in SPR50, 1 point off his own record
For good measure he shot a 288.005 in OSBPTP1 – 1 point off the current record, held by IPAPCs Neil O’Malley
MTSCs Mike Nestor was also on fire putting in a 300.029 in GRCFTP1 – equaling the record set by IPAPCs Jeff Kehoe, set back in FRC in June.
ECSCs Declan Keogh was also doing well – having RO’d half the day on Saturday – he then went on to shoot three PBs, including two class promotions.
Lough Bo weren’t to be left out. Shane Conlon medalled in three disciplines on his first go at them – Derek Healy said he’d give the Semi Auto Benchrest and go – and won it.
Dan O’Flaherty and Andy McGowan shot PBs all over the place – both shooting 1482 in the GRSB1500 – with Andy to then go on and shoot a 1481 in the GRCF1500 – only for Dan to come along and drop in a 1492.
There’s something in the water (or maybe the curry!!) down there.
